Our Journey
From a single machine to a nationwide network
The story of BTM Vendor is the story of a team that saw an opportunity to do things differently — and refused to stop until they had built something worth trusting.
The First Machine
BTM Vendor was founded in Boise, Idaho, with the installation of a single Bitcoin ATM in a convenience store on the edge of the city. The machine generated over $12,000 in its first month of operation — confirming the founding team's conviction that physical Bitcoin access was an untapped market.
Expanding the Network
With proof of concept established, we expanded to fifteen machines across Idaho and neighbouring states. We simultaneously built the operational infrastructure — cash management protocols, exchange integrations and our investor dashboard — that would underpin all future growth.
Opening to Outside Investors
Recognising that the co-ownership model would accelerate expansion while creating genuine passive income for investors, we launched our first formal investment offering. Within ninety days, all available ownership slots were filled. The investor community that now numbers over 1,200 individuals began here.
The $15M Milestone
Total capital deployed across our investor network crossed fifteen million dollars. We expanded our field operations team, introduced the host partnership programme and launched our customer-facing ATM finder application, which now directs thousands of users to our machines each month.
4 States and Growing
Our network grew to span twelve states with over 1,200 active locations. We invested more than one million dollars in marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic to host locations and introduced multi-currency support across all machines, adding Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and stablecoins to our offering.
The Next Chapter
We are actively expanding into new markets, developing the next generation of our investor dashboard and exploring strategic partnerships with national retail chains. Our goal for 2025 is to double the number of active machines in our network while maintaining the operational standards our investors have come to depend on.
